Allen Parish School Board Pre-K Program

Allen Parish Schools provide a comprehensive and developmentally appropriate four-year-old educational program throughout the communities of our parish. There are sixteen classrooms in six communities (Elizabeth, Grant (Fairview), Kinder, Oakdale, Oberlin, and Reeves). The Allen Parish Pre-K Program aligns to the Four-Year-Old Early Learning and Development Standards that address skills in the areas of social-emotional, gross motor, math, literacy, language, social studies, and science. Our approach to learning focuses upon the Learning Center Approach (Construction Zone, Pretend and Learn, Art, Discovery Bin, Music, Outside Play, Literacy, Math, Technology, Science Lab, and Library) where children learn through the authentic environment of play.

This program is provided for all children within Allen Parish that meet the age requirment of being four-years of age by September 30^th of the current school year. School sites with Pre-K Programs and phone numbers are listed below:
